Overview

Our Thangkas are more than just products; they are sacred commissions, often hand-painted to order or specifically selected for their unique spiritual essence. Due to the bespoke and sacred nature of these artworks, our refund and returns policy is strictly limited.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you understand the unique nature of Thangka art and agree to the terms outlined below.

Cancellations & Pre-Shipment Refunds

We offer a full refund if a cancellation request is made before the item has been dispatched.

  • In-Stock items: Cancellation must be requested within 24 hours of order placement.
  • Bespoke/Commissioned items: Once the master artist has commenced work (usually 48 hours after payment), only a partial refund may be available to cover materials and labor already invested.

Returns & Exchanges (Post-Dispatch)

Because each Thangka is a unique, hand-crafted masterpiece—and in many cases, consecrated or customized for the collector—all sales are final once the item has been dispatched from our studio. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds after dispatch.

We maintain this policy to ensure:

  • Artistic Integrity: Thangkas are fragile and can be damaged by improper handling or re-packaging during a return journey.
  • Spiritual Sanctity: To maintain the energetic purity and intended purpose of the artwork for its guardian.

Note: Items purchased during a sale, consecrated artworks, or bespoke commissions are excluded from any return policy.

Damaged or Defective Items

In the rare event that your Thangka arrives damaged during transit, we are committed to providing a resolution (repair, replacement, or partial refund). To qualify, you must:

  1. Inspect the package immediately upon arrival.
  2. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery by emailing our support team.
  3. Provide clear photographic evidence of both the damaged packaging and the artwork itself.

Once verified, we will coordinate with you to either have the piece professionally restored or offer a replacement of equal spiritual and artistic value.
